The Rite Foto Art

The Rite Photo Art creates art by adding mixed media to one of several hundred photographs discovered scattered around the dumpster of their apartment building, The Roslyn Square, one morning.

It would have been a shame for all of these photographs to simply end up in a landfill somewhere. Therefore, the artist started repurposing them into art using whatever physical medium they could get their hands on, adding texture, repeating patterns, and abstraction. They are diligently documenting and cataloguing the original photographs before altering them through their artistic process [read: ruining them].

Jesse has been involved in over a dozen markets, as well as a group exhibition at the U of M Collections Gallery in 2023.
