Sweet Adeline

Jessica Janz Cote learned embroidery with her grandmother when she was a child in rural Manitoba. Taking inspiration from historical woodcut art and vintage illustrations, her work explores nature and anatomy, and mental health issues; and sometimes incorporates nature itself into the textile art.

From wall art to jewelry and accessories, each piece is stitched and assembled by hand.
