S.M. Beiko

S.M. Beiko is an award-winning author and artist based in Winnipeg. While she writes mostly for teen audiences, she is also the editor of original comics anthologies, the creator of her own comic 'Krampus is My Boyfriend!' which won the 2020 Aurora Award and was nominated for the Joe Shuster Award, and is the artistic director for local indie comics organization, Prairie Comics Festival.

Her newest series, The Brindlewatch Quintet, champions queer romance and a love of monsters. Book 2, 'The Door in Lake Mallion,' arrives October 2024.
