With maker energy passed down from her Ma who is a spectacular creative with a ridiculous sense of humour, Andee of Sew Dandee connects with these inherent qualities during her creative process in the mediums of sewing and printing.

Inspired by the natural world and protecting this precious planet, her work is centered around fibres that will safely return to the earth. Her work includes reusables such as hankies, napkins and pads alongside hand printed tea towels, bandanas, patches and one of a kind tops and frocks created for all bodies. With her garment designs, creating shapes and colour blocks with the bits and pieces make each piece unique, just like their wearer.

Sourcing her raw materials as close to home as possible by working with fellow makers, using their fabric scraps or thrifting linens and clothing, makes her work feel connected to community while offering functional and wearable art.
