Paint Eater is the pseudonym of Charis Lisakowski, a disabled queer punk artist from Winnipeg. Charis specializes in linocut and acrylic paint.

Paint Eater exists to reimagine ‘unsightly’ things as beautiful while honouring the inevitability of death.

Charis loves gothic imagery, fat bodies, bones, anything strange or unusual, and bright pink.

All of Charis’ work is influenced by disability and their lived experience as a lesbian.

All of Charis’ pieces are entirely handmade by their disabled hands and a true labour of love.
