Eater of Paint, aka Charis (care-iss) Lisakowski, is a queer, disabled artist who creates on Treaty 1 territory. Charis is a multimedia artist specializing in acrylic paint and linocut, with 6+ years of linocut experience. They are an agender punk dyke who has a deep love for all things dead and unusual.

Eater of Paint exists to reimagine ‘unsightly’ things as beautiful while honouring the eternal cycle of life and death. All of Charis’ work is deeply influenced by disabled grief and their lived queer experience.
